On 12/1, our kindergarten classes went to Piper Mountain in Newburg to purchase our Holiday Tree! They held a penny drive to pay for the tree. While collecting the pennies, the students practiced creating groups of 10! This trip went along with their traditions unit and aligned with one of the six guiding principles: to be a responsible and involved citizen!
